I'm a software developer who is caring for his parents.

We're an intergenerational household in Pennsylvania. I handle what solo caregivers everywhere handle: the appointments, the phone calls, the pharmacy runs, the paperwork, the groceries, the chasing. If you're the one in your family who carries that, you already know the job. Everyone thinks the caregiving is handled. And it is. By one person. Invisibly. Constantly.

Then my parents got worried about me — that I was taking on too much for them. That conversation is where Resbit started. So we built it together: a tool for our own household first, tested on our own pharmacy calls and our own benefit applications, shaped by what actually helps at our own kitchen table.

Along the way I did the homework I wished someone had done for me: I read thousands of posts from other family caregivers describing exactly where the system grinds people down — the voicemail prisons, the applications designed to make you quit, the money families qualify for and never collect. Resbit is built against that list. It finds the money, answers the phone, and does the chasing.

We're honest to a fault about eligibility — including when the answer is "not yet" — and we'll always point you to the free accredited help you're entitled to before we point you to us. That's how we'd want someone to treat our family. It's how we treat yours.
